Scan & Secure Send
DeCare Dental’s Scan and Secure Send facility is a service offered to members to provide a fast and secure online claims submission option for members as an alternative to direct pay or postal options.
Step 1. Before visiting your dentist
- Download a claim form and bring a copy to the dental visit
- View our dental directory to find a suitable dentist
- Before visiting the dentist, check your policy or call our customer service team on 1890 130 017 / 094 93 78608 to check your level of cover
Step 2. At the dentist
- Following treatment, pay your dentist and ask for a detailed receipt, which includes the detail requested on the front of the claim form
- Ask your dentist to sign and stamp your claim form, complete the rest of the claim form, sign and date it
- You can submit a claim as soon as a course of treatment is complete
Step 3. Claiming through DeCare Scan & Secure Send
- Scan a copy of your completed claim form along with the detailed receipt/ receipts received from the dentist
- Preferably save each file in pdf format, files should not exceed 2gb
- Fill in the online form provided below and upload your claim form and dental receipt(s)
- You should receive a message on screen to confirm when your files have successfully uploaded
- Please note that customers utilizing this tool with pop-up blockers enabled for their web browser may be unable to view upload progress. We recommend users disable pop-up blockers on these pages

Step 4: Claims processing
- DeCare will assess the claim and provide benefit directly into the your bank account
- If all required information is provided, claims are processed within 10 working days
If you have a reliable internet connection and your claim submission uploads correctly you will receive an 'UPLOAD SUCCESS' message, if you do not receive this message it's likely that your claim submission did not upload properly.
If your claim failed to upload it may just be a temporary service provider issue, please try again later or alternatively you can post it to our claims handling centre.
